Philosopher known for his views on the Copernican Revolution, which are documented in his 1790 book The Critique of Judgement. He is considered to be one of the greatest philosophers of all time. 

Before Fame

He received a Berlin Academy prize in 1754 for his study of the earth's rotation.


He often debated about the existence of God in his work. He began working on his first book, Thoughts on the True Estimation of Living Forces, in 1744, which covered a problem pertaining to kinetic forces. His range of subjects that he lectured on included everything from logic and mathematics, to metaphysics and moral philosophy.
